EXAMINATION INVIGILATORS (AMANUENSIS)

Requirements

  1. Minimum Matric / NCV Level 4 certificate and Three year Post Matric Qualification
  2. Does not have a child/ward writing the examination
  3. Is not a relative or primary caregiver of a candidate writing the examination
  4. Is not the spouse or next of kin of the Chief Invigilator
  5. South African citizen
  6. Good observation skills
  7. Good organizational skills
  8. Good verbal communication skills
  9. Good administrative skills
  10. Honesty, integrity and reliable

Responsibilities

  1. Invigilation during examination session
  2. Support students with examination concessions
  3. Assist with management of question papers and answer books
  4. Responsible to ensure that examination rules and regulations are adhered to for each session
  5. Responsible to ensure discipline in the exam venue

 

Recommendations

  1. Preferably trained educators
  2. Previous training or experience as examination invigilator/amanuensis
  3. Knowledge of examination policies and procedures
