
Requirements
1. Recognized three (3) year National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Business Administration, Public Management / Administration or relevant qualification
2. A minimum of 3 – 5 years relevant working experience in department
3. A minimum of 3 – 5 years working experience as a supervisor on salary level 7 or 8
4. 3 years’ experience in NSFAS administration / bursary management system
5. 3 years’ experience with a student administration system (Coltech/ITS or similar)
6. Proven advanced Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
7. Proven report writing and presentation skills in the public sector and its legislation framework
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
9. Working knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service
10. Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
1. Manage the administration of the overall student registration services
2. Manage the provision of student Financial Aid and bursary services
3. Management of all human, financial and other resources of the unit
4. Ensure compliance to all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements, assistance with audits and report writing
5. Quality and Risk Management

Recommendations
5 years Public Sector and/or Higher Education and/or TVET experience will be an added advantage
