1. Grade 12
2. Minimum qualification: 3 Year Diploma/Degree
3. At least 3 years work experience in a Learnership and Skills environment
4. Advanced computer skills
5. Valid driver’s license


1. Coordinate all Occupational (Learnerships and Skills) projects
2. Conduct implementation meetings of all new Occupational programmes
3. Coordinate best practice workshops and meetings to support Occupational staff
4. Support Occupational staff in the administration of projects
5. Monitor the project deliverables of all Occupational training per specific project
6. Monitor the specific projects (electronically, per telephone and monthly site visits and report to the Senior Manager: Education and Training)
7. Liaise with Occupational Managers at campuses on the academic delivery and project deliverables of all projects
8. Assist the Finance department with audit queries related to Occupation projects
9. Liaise with SETAS on the project deliverables of Occupational projects
10. Coordinate and report on all general academic and administration activities of Occupational programmes
11. Monitor and evaluate staff performance


1. Multilingualism will be an advantage
2. Advanced knowledge of TVET, SETAS (Learnerships & Skills)
3. Advanced administrative and organizational skills
4. Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans
5. Assessor and/or Moderator qualification advantageous

R 376 413.00 per annum plus benefits. Benefits include a thirteenth cheque. Membership of the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) is compulsory. Employees may also be eligible to receive a Home owner’s housing allowance and the employer’s medical aid subsidy. Details regarding the fringe benefits are available on request. Permanent position subject to 12 months’ probation.
